Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Bagi Anak Autisme Kelas VIII di SLB YPPLB Padang
This research was initially motivated by the success of students when studying with teacher Y who managed to guide students to excel in speed reading and writing synopsis last year. This success was proven by the results of the students' work when they joined the category literacy competition to make a synopsis. However, teacher X who taught students this year experienced difficulties in the process of learning Indonesian because students who taught X were very diverse. Students vary in terms of behavior and levels of education which consists of students with autism classes II, VII, VIII, and X. By using the case study method and qualitative descriptive approach, this research can be focused on the implementation of Indonesian language learning conducted by teacher X as it is. Teacher X is the respondent of this research. The process of collecting data is done through observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies.
