the Effectiveness of Video Media Tutorials in Developing Stick Making Skills Sala for Deaf Children
Research based on the problems found in the field there are five deaf children of class VII in SLB N 2 Pariaman. At the time the researcher made observations the child was learning skills in the field of heaven, the child was able to make bakwan and sala lauak dough but was still under the guidance of the teacher. Children have never been taught how to make sala sticks to be processed that can be traded. This study aims to prove the effectiveness of video tutorial media in developing skills to make sala sticks for deaf children of class VII at SLB N 2 Pariaman. This research in its implementation uses quasy experimental method. This research was conducted in several stages, the initial stage was carried out with the aim to determine the child's ability before being given a treatment (pretest), the next stage was giving treatment (treatment), and the third stage was after being given treatment (posttest). The results of the work process of five children in making sala sticks were then processed and studied again through the Wilcoxon sign rank test method, the test results proved to be an effective video tutorial media used in developing skills to make sala sticks for deaf children in SLB N 2 Pariaman.
